Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered GP to work at a Fareham practice on ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions, offering flexible, well-organised shifts and a supportive team environment.

You will manage a varied caseload, provide thorough patient assessments, perform triage by phone, and document consultations in the clinical system. UK primary care experience and familiarity with EMIS/SystmOne are preferred and indemnity should be in place.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with current practicing status.
• Active inclusion on NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience.

Responsibilities

• Running routine and urgent GP clinics.
• Managing acute presentations and complex cases.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and appropriately.
• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with clinical actions and follow-up tasks.
