Job summary

Menlo Park International GPs is seeking a Locum GP to support a well-established practice in Bury St Edmunds with ad-hoc dates in September and October and ongoing demand thereafter.

You will join a friendly multi-disciplinary team, covering 8:30am–6:00pm with occasional home visits. Expect 28 appointments per day, 15-minute face-to-face or 10-minute telephone slots, and use of Anima for triage; GMC registration and UK Performers List are required.

Qualifications

• Must be GMC registered and on the UK Performers List.
• Ad-hoc September/October dates with ongoing locum demand.

Responsibilities

• Locum GP covering 8:30am-6:00pm sessions.
• Duty GP days may be required (until 6:30pm).
• 28 appointments per day; 15-minute face-to-face or 10-minute telephone slots.
• Occasional home visits (rare).
• Self-generated admin, plus med reviews, urgent bloods and messages.

Background –

We have an excellent opportunity for a Locum GP to support a well-established practice in Bury St Edmunds, with ad-hoc dates available in September and October.

Beyond September and October, the practice has a regular, ongoing requirement for locum cover, so there is genuine scope for consistent, repeat bookings if it's a good fit on both sides.

You'll be joining a friendly and supportive multi-disciplinary team including GPs, ACPs, Nurses, Paramedics and Clinical Pharmacists.

Salary –

£700-£725 per day

Your role –

• Locum GP
• Ad-hoc sessions available throughout September and October
• Regular, ongoing locum requirement beyond these dates
• 8:30am - 6:00pm
• Duty GP days also required (duty until 6:30pm)
• Use of Anima for patient triage
• 28 appointments per day
• 15-minute F2F / 10-minute telephone appointments
• Occasional home visits (rare)
• Self-generated admin, plus med reviews, urgent bloods and messages
• Must be GMC registered and on the UK Performers List
