Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered GP to provide locum cover in Knighton, UK. The role offers fully flexible shifts across primary care settings, including urgent care and routine clinics, with regular weekly availability.

You will deliver urgent and routine GP care, conduct telephone triage where applicable, review results and referrals, and work closely with clinical and admin teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with NHS Performers List
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS
• Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments

Responsibilities

Locum Ready is looking for Locum General Practitioners in Knighton. This opportunity provides flexible sessional work across multiple primary care services, offering a range of clinical environments suited to GPs seeking autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability.

You will support local services by delivering evidence-based GP care through urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone consultations and clinical triage. Each service provides clear expectations, structured workflows and supportive clinical teams to ensure safe and efficient working conditions.
