Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking General Practitioners for flexible sessional work across multiple primary care services in Cults. This locum opportunity offers autonomy, variety and consistent weekly availability, with supportive clinical teams and clear workflows to ensure safe working conditions.

You will provide urgent access appointments, routine reviews, telephone triage and clinical assessments, with flexible shift patterns including weekdays, evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP required.
• NHS Performers List inclusion required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community primary care settings preferable.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills required.
• Valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS required.

Responsibilities

• Managing urgent and routine GP clinics across primary care settings.
• Conducting telephone consultations and triage.
• Assessing acute, chronic and undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing within scope and handling medication queries.
• Reviewing results, referrals and follow-up actions.
