Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to cover sessions at a Romsey primary care practice. The role offers flexible, ad-hoc or regular weekly sessions with clear clinical workflows and strong admin support.

You will manage varied caseloads, perform high-quality patient assessments, conduct telephone triage, and document consultations using EMIS or SystmOne. Indemnity and Enhanced DBS are required.

Qualifications

• GMC-registered General Practitioner with UK licensure and current practice status.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List.
• Recent UK primary care experience in a GP setting.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or similar systems.
• Must have valid indemnity and Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilités

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum General Practitioner to work for a GP practice in Romsey. This role is well-suited to GPs seeking flexible, well-organised sessions within a supportive primary care environment that offers a clear structure for daily clinical work.

You will manage a varied caseload, deliver high-quality patient assessments and provide continuity where required. The practice offers strong administrative support, established clinical workflows and a team-focused approach to patient care, ensuring efficient and manageable session delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries

• Documenting consultations clearly using the clinical system
