Locum Ready is seeking a GMC-registered General Practitioner to provide flexible, well-structured sessions at a GP practice in Glenrothes, Scotland. You will deliver high-quality patient assessments, conduct telephone triage, manage diverse caseloads and ensure continuity of care within a supportive team and established clinical workflows.

The role offers ad-hoc or regular weekly bookings with potential for longer-term arrangements, supported by strong administrative backup and clear daily

Qualifications

• GMC-registered GP with right to work in the UK.
• Active inclusion on the NHS Performers List is required.
• Recent UK primary care experience is essential.
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills are expected.
• Familiarity with EMIS or SystmOne systems is preferred.
• Valid indemnity insurance and Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running routine GP clinics and managing acute presentations.
• Providing telephone consultations and triage as part of daily workflow.
• Reviewing investigations, results and medication queries.
• Prescribing safely and documenting consultations in the clinical system.
• Supporting the practice with follow-up tasks and care coordination.
• Delivering high-quality patient assessments with continuity of care.
