CRA Consulting is recruiting five experienced RTA litigators for six-month locum assignments with an established claimant personal injury practice. These roles offer fully remote working and an umbrella hourly rate of £40-£45, with ASAP starts.

You will manage claims from instruction through settlement or court proceedings, handling pre-litigation and litigated matters with minimal supervision. Strong CPR knowledge and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing your own claimant RTA caseload, including non-portal and litigated claims.
• Strong knowledge of CPR, Pre-Action Protocols and litigation procedures.
• Solid liability investigation and quantum assessment skills.
• Confident negotiation with insurers and defendants.
• Ability to prioritise a busy caseload and meet deadlines.
• Experience using case management systems and working remotely.

Responsabilités

• Investigate liability, causation and quantum; review medical evidence.
• Draft witness statements, schedules of loss and court documents.
• Negotiate settlements with insurers and defendant teams.

Rate: £40-£45 per hour, umbrella assignment rate

The Opportunity

CRA Consulting is recruiting five experienced RTA litigators for six-month locum assignments with an established claimant personal injury business.

These roles offer fully remote working, allowing you to join an experienced team from home while taking responsibility for a busy caseload of non-portal Fast Track RTA claims.

If you are available at short notice and confident handling pre-litigated and litigated matters with minimal supervision, I would be keen to speak with you.

The Role

You will manage claims from instruction through to settlement or progression through court proceedings, maintaining clear communication with clients throughout.

Responsibilities will include:

• Investigating liability, including disputed liability and motorcycle accident claims.
• Assessing causation and quantum, reviewing medical evidence and researching relevant case law.
• Drafting witness statements, schedules of loss and court documents.
• Negotiating settlements with insurers and defendant representatives.
• Identifying matters requiring litigation and progressing proceedings.
• Dealing with disclosure, directions questionnaires and court deadlines.
• Instructing counsel and experts where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate case records and delivering excellent client care.

About You

Applications are welcomed from Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives and experienced non-qualified Personal Injury Litigators.

You should have:

• Experience managing your own claimant RTA caseload, including non-portal and litigated claims.
• Strong knowledge of the CPR, relevant Pre-Action Protocols and litigation procedures.
• Sound liability investigation and quantum assessment skills.
• Confident negotiation skills and a practical approach to resolving claims.
• The ability to prioritise a busy caseload and meet procedural deadlines.
• Experience using case management systems.
• The confidence to work independently while contributing to a remote team.
