Locum Dental Nurse

Job description

We are looking for experienced LOCUM dental nurses with GDC registration as soon as possible to work in a friendly dental practice in Oxfordshire (Oxford, Bicester, Thame, Berinsfield, Andover).

We are offering rates of pay between £13 - £18 per hour (depending on experience and location) - Possibility of certain locum posts leading to permanent positions.

DENTAL NURSE DUTIES

• Passing instruments to the Dentist/Therapist or Hygienist
• Operating suction tools
• Preparing materials and tools
• Making sure that the patient is relaxed and comfortable at all times
• Tidy and prepare the dental surgery at the start and end of the day
• Sterilize Instruments
• Help the dentist record notes about the patient
• Stock control
• Occasional reception duties as and when needed
