If you are a registered nurse with exposure to acute hospital setting and passionate about moving into Haematology / Oncology Nursing then this could be the opportunity for you!
We're looking for a dynamic and committed Staff Nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team at HCA Healthcare UK at one of our specialist cancer centres. As specialists in blood disorders and cancer we're continually at the forefront of clinical innovation. And you could be too. Our continued investment allows us to offer the very latest treatments, from our JACIE accredited bone marrow/stem cell transplant service to our newly developed CART T-cell therapy programme which is revolutionising the care we're able to provide.
As a Staff Nurse rotating across our haematology/oncology ward, you will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care to ensure that our patients are cared for in a safe, compassionate and comfortable environment. This will include meeting physical, psychological and spiritual needs by effectively communicating with the patient, their families and your colleagues. As part of the Oncology / Haematology rotational programme, you will also be involved in the care of patients across the continuum of care, including at times, patients on a palliative or end of life care pathway.
Here at HCA Healthcare we continually invest in our colleagues, and this role is no different. We will support you to develop your knowledge and skills in haematology-oncology specialist nursing, which includes being trained to administer the Systemic Anti-Cancer Treatments (SACT), stem cell administration and various new anti-cancer treatments. It's a great opportunity for a Staff Nurse looking to take the next step in their career and develop in depth specialist knowledge.
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
