Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Oncologist for a 0.5 WTE position specializing in Lower GI Cancers and CUP. This role involves working within established multidisciplinary teams and providing comprehensive cancer services, with a focus on patient care and collaboration. We are seeking to appoint a 0.5 WTE, Locum Consultant Oncologist specializing in Lower GI Cancers and CUP at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, with outreach clinics within the SYBND cancer alliance. This is a fixed-term position for 6 months.

The appointee will, alongside Consultant colleagues, be responsible for providing cancer services across the specified disease sites and will join established multidisciplinary teams.
Successful candidates are expected to participate in our acute oncology and on-call services rota, which currently accounts for 0.11 PA. The role will adhere to the terms of the national consultant contract and involve sharing emergency cover duties, including covering colleagues during absences. The appointee will have ongoing responsibility for their patients and the department's smooth operation.
