We are looking to appoint one 0.5 WTE, Locum Consultant Oncologist in Lower GI Cancers and CUP to Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust based at Weston Park Cancer Centre, with outreach clinics within the SYBND cancer alliance. This is a fixed term post for 6 months.

The appointee will, together with Consultant colleagues be responsible for the provision of cancer services across the above mentioned disease sites.The appointee will join established multidisciplinary teams for these cancers.
Successful candidates will be expected to participate in our acute oncology and on-call services rota which currently equates to 0.11 PA.
The successful candidate will work according to the terms and conditions of the national consultant contract.
The person appointed will take their equal share in providing emergency cover and will be required to cover for colleagues during periods of absence. They will have continuing responsibility for patients in their care and the proper functioning of the Department.
