Role: Locum Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Breast Imaging

Shifts:

Monday to Friday, full or part-time considered. ASAP for 5.5 months. 08:30-17:30. Breast Imaging Consultant - Suspected cancer. Diagnostic provision specifically breast triple assessment clinics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• GMC registered Doctor (not necessarily on the Specialist Register)
• Relevant experience at Consultant level or supporting references for transition
• Evidence of right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship)
• Pass an enhanced DBS check
• Quick thinking, analytical mind, patience, calmness under stress, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, excellent timekeeping, and a desire to develop professionally

Main Duties:

• Use imaging to diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions
• Provide guidance to other clinicians
• Ensure quality treatment through liaison with staff
• Elect appropriate radiology techniques and guide interventional treatments
• Support patients and communicate findings effectively
• Participate in multidisciplinary team activities
• Assess and prioritize patient needs, delegate tasks
• Recognize and report patient condition changes
• Perform administrative tasks
