Locum Commercial Property Regeneration Lawyer – Midlands – Full Time – Remote Working – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

Are you a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer seeking a new locum assignment within Local Government?

Venn Group is working with a Local Authority based in the Midlands who are seeking a Locum Commercial Property Lawyer to join their team and assist with various ongoing major projects.

Position: Locum Commercial Property and Regeneration Lawyer

Organisation: Local Authority

Location: West Midlands

Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with likely extensions due to project needs

Working Pattern: Full-time availability preferred; candidates available 4 days per week will also be considered

Working Arrangement: Remote working is offered; office attendance once a month is encouraged

Start Date: As soon as possible

The successful applicant will be a qualified lawyer, either via Solicitor, Barrister, or experienced CILEX professional, with a strong understanding of commercial property matters within Local Government.

Role Responsibilities:

• Preparing, negotiating, and advising on regeneration projects and commercial property matters
• Representing the Authority’s clients and negotiating with third parties on property-related issues
• Drafting, amending, and finalising legal documents related to property matters
• Managing the Council’s property portfolio, land transactions, and redevelopment projects
• Collaborating with colleagues to deliver effective programmes, projects, policies, and initiatives
