Job summary

Caritas Recruitment is recruiting a Children’s Social Worker for a long-term locum post with Bournemouth, Christchurch & Poole Council. You will manage CIN/CP/LAC cases within the Children and Families First Team, undertaking assessments and planning interventions to safeguard children.

The role requires SWE registration, Right to Work in the UK, and a commitment to three office days per week in the BCP area, with a supportive team and manageable caseloads.

Qualifications

• Must be Social Work England registered and have Right to Work in the UK.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a statutory English Local Authority.
• Essential car user with access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of CIN, CP and Looked After Children cases.
• Undertake assessments, plan interventions and ensure protection and support for children.
