Job summary

Pulse Healthcare Limited is seeking a Band 6 Biomedical Scientist specialising in Biochemistry to join our client’s team in Staffordshire. This full-time, ongoing position offers a competitive hourly rate and a busy laboratory environment within the NHS framework.

You will perform biochemical analyses including routine chemistry, endocrinology and toxicology on automated platforms, ensuring accurate results and maintaining quality standards while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent.
• Experience in Biochemistry within a clinical laboratory.
• Experience with automated chemistry analysers (Roche Cobas & Winpath LIMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• NHS experience is required.
