Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Locum Band 6 Pharmacy Technician in Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK. The role offers flexible hours, with part-time or full-time options, and an hourly rate of £26.00. The appointment is ongoing and requires HCPC registration and prior pharmacy experience.

The successful candidate will support the pharmacist, manage ward medicines, reconcile medications, and help with discharge planning. Driving licence is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role.
• Driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day pharmacy technician services for Welney Ward at Princess of Wales Hospital in Ely.
• Support the pharmacist in delivering clinical pharmacy services (elderly care, rehabilitation, stroke, palliative care).
• Conduct medicines reconciliation and assess patients' own medicines on admission, documenting on electronic records.
