Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Horsham. The role offers autonomous clinical work with the support of a multidisciplinary team and flexible sessional hours.

You will assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, perform urgent and routine reviews, and prescribe under a V300 Independent Prescriber authority, with exposure to EMIS/SystmOne/ Vision and a DBS check.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nursing qualification required for independent practice.
• Postgraduate Level 7 qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care or urgent care settings.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in Horsham. This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.

Key Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics

Requirements

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate)

• Familiarity with common primary care systems (EMIS / SystmOne / Vision)
• Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern

• Up to 4 days per week, flexible sessions
• Morning and afternoon clinics available
