Job summary

Locum Ready in Windsor is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work autonomously within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from a multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes; morning and afternoon sessions are available with flexible blocks.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.

Requirements

• Familiarity with common primary care systems (EMIS / SystmOne / Vision)
• Enhanced DBS

Working Pattern

• Up to 4 days per week, flexible sessions
• Morning and afternoon clinics available
• Opportunity for long-term block bookings
