Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Beverley. This role offers autonomous clinical responsibility within a well-organised primary care team and flexible sessional work with full support from a multidisciplinary group.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, perform minor illness clinics, and contribute to high-quality outcomes. Morning and afternoon clinics available; up to four days per week.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate) required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing (or equivalent) is essential.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care, or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
