We are currently collaborating with a GP surgery in Stoke-on-Trent seeking ANP cover for the summer period.

In this role, you will work alongside a skilled clinical team including GPs, ANPs, Practice Nurses, and HCAs to see and treat patients on the day. You will conduct 15-minute appointments, including face-to-face consultations, telephone triage, referring patients to local services, prescribing within your competency, and delivering high-quality care.

Details:

• Location: Stoke-on-Trent
• Shift pattern: Ad-hoc dates Monday – Friday over summer 2025
• Hours: Any between 08:30-18:30 with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate data records on Emis
• Provide independent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of minor illnesses, chronic diseases, and acute presentations
• Undertake telephone triage and advice calls
• Prescribe independently within your clinical competence
• Follow best practice guidelines, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with NMC pin
• At least 6 months of GP practice experience
• Competency with Emis (desirable)
• Experience in Primary Care
