Job summary

Locum Ready seeks an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in a GP practice in Rugby. You will deliver comprehensive assessments, safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a primary care setting with clear workflows.

You will work alongside GPs, Nurses and staff, managing urgent and routine appointments, with on-the-day triage and independent prescribing where qualified. Flexible sessions and steady patient demand are offered.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7 is required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
