Locum Ready is seeking a proactive Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a GP practice in Doncaster. The post offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions designed for an autonomous ACP working in a primary care setting with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

You will work alongside GPs, nurses and staff to provide comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training completed.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Manage same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of presentations.
• Support on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribe independently where qualified.
• Action results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintain accurate and compliant patient records.
