Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work with a GP practice in Nottingham. This post offers structured, well-supported clinical sessions for an autonomous ACP in a primary care setting with clear workflows and steady patient demand.

You will work alongside GPs, Nurses and wider clinical staff to perform comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.
• Excellent clinical reasoning and patient communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously in clinic.
• Enhanced DBS and up-to-date clinical training.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage
• Prescribing independently where qualified
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records
