Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a GP practice in St Ives. You’ll work with GPs, nurses and the broader team to deliver comprehensive assessments and safe clinical decisions, with a mix of urgent care, routine appointments and triage.

The role suits ACPs who value autonomy, clear workflows, and steady patient demand, supported by structured sessions and continuity in a primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner training at Level 7 is required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency settings is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
