Job summary

Locum Ready in Rochford is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners for flexible, sessional work across primary care providers. You’ll conduct autonomous assessments, manage acute presentations and support routine activity with sessions arranged to fit your schedule.

As an ACP, you’ll work within clinical teams, deliver ACP-led clinics, triage, and prescribing within your scope. DBS clearance and relevant qualifications are required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold Advanced Clinical Practitioner Level 7 qualification.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent ACP-led clinics across primary care settings.
• Assess and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Provide telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of practice.
