Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join a GP practice in Rayleigh. You will work alongside GPs and nurses to provide comprehensive assessments, make safe clinical decisions, and contribute to high-quality patient outcomes in a primary care setting.

The role combines urgent care, routine appointments and clinical triage, with flexible ad-hoc or regular sessions and morning/afternoon clinics.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Clinical Practitioner training is required.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300) desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Managing same-day and routine ACP appointments.
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating a wide range of presentations.
• Supporting on-the-day demand through telephone triage.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Actioning results, referrals and follow-up tasks.
• Maintaining accurate and compliant patient records.
