Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Prescot. You will run your own clinics, deliver autonomous clinical assessments and safe decision-making within a structured primary care environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• Background may be Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong decision‑making skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work for a GP practice in Prescot. This role is ideal for an experienced ACP from a nursing, paramedic, or allied health background who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments, safe decision-making and efficient patient management within a structured primary care environment.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand. The practice offers clear pathways, strong administrative support and a smooth workflow to ensure effective session delivery.
