Job description

Plus X Innovation creates unique and inspiring workplaces, bringing together state-of-the-art equipment and facilities, game-changing innovation programmes and vibrant member communities helping to drive business growth. Plus X Innovation has a proven record of accomplishment of creating collaborative ecosystems with a diverse mix of talents, skills, and technology, attracting, and connecting with local businesses and the wider community.

As a Location Coordinator, you'll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for every member, visitor and guest from the moment they arrive.

Working closely with the Location Manager and wider team, you'll help ensure the building is welcoming, well-presented, compliant and running smoothly, while building meaningful relationships with members and anticipating their needs.

This is a varied, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys taking initiative, solving problems and finding ways to improve how our spaces operate. Combining the warmth of hospitality with the professionalism of a premium workplace, you'll help drive member satisfaction, retention and the overall success of the location.

Location: Slough (on-site)

Reporting to: Location Manager

Salary range: £26,228 - £28,500 per annum, dependent upon experience

About You

We're looking for someone who is naturally people-focused and takes genuine pride in creating exceptional workplace experiences.

You'll thrive in this role if you're someone who notices the small details, enjoys building relationships and takes ownership rather than waiting to be asked. You're equally comfortable welcoming a new member, resolving an operational issue, hosting an event or finding a better way of doing something.

You'll likely have:

  • Experience in hospitality, premium customer service, flexible workspaces or a customer-facing workplace environment.
  • A warm, confident and professional approach, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, taking ownership, using initiative and working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes.
  • A commercial mindset and an interest in developing your sales skills - previous sales experience is welcome but not essential.
  • Strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of people and adapt confidently to changing priorities.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, CRM systems and workplace technology, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.

Key Responsibilities

Member Experience

Support the day-to-day member experience, creating an environment where every interaction adds value and every member or guest feels welcomed, supported and connected.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering a warm, professional environment for members, visitors and guests, acting as a key point of contact in the community.
  • Building positive relationships with members, responding to enquiries and connecting them with relevant people, services and opportunities across the Plus X Innovation community.
  • Supporting Front of House operations, including front reception cover and ensuring a seamless member and visitor experience.

Environment & Location Operations

Support the daily operation and presentation of the building, ensuring every space is safe, welcoming, fully operational and reflective of the Plus X Innovation brand.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining exceptional presentation standards through regular building checks, ensuring communal spaces are clean, organised, welcoming and fully operational.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the hub, including opening and closing procedures, post, deliveries, plants, stock management and supplier coordination.
  • Proactively identifying and reporting operational issues while supporting facilities compliance to maintain a safe and well-managed environment.
  • Continuously looking for opportunities to improve operational efficiency and enhance the member experience.

Community Events

Collaborate on the delivery of an engaging community programme that strengthens connections, showcases our members and brings the Plus X Innovation community to life.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the planning, delivery and promotion of an engaging programme of community events.
  • Taking ownership of event setup, hosting and pack down, ensuring every event is welcoming, professional and well‑executed.
  • Building relationships during events, encouraging member engagement, introductions and collaboration.
  • Identifying opportunities to continually improve the quality, experience and impact of the community programme, including supporting occasional evening events (TOIL provided).

Support the commercial success of the location by delivering an exceptional customer journey from first enquiry through to long‑term membership, with the opportunity to develop your sales and commercial skills as part of the role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full member journey for Coworking and Resident memberships, including enquiries, sales tours, onboarding, inductions, pauses and departures.
  • Supporting membership administration, billing and CRM management, working closely with the Location Manager and Finance Manager to ensure accurate records and invoicing.
  • Identifying opportunities to promote meeting rooms, events and additional services, supporting occupancy, retention and revenue growth through outstanding customer service.

Plus X Innovation is proud to offer the following perks and benefits to the team:

  • 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), plus an extra day off for your birthday.
  • £250 per year to spend on personal development and/or wellbeing.
  • 2 x paid volunteering days per year.
  • Access to our Health Assured Employee Assistance Programme and wellbeing resources.
  • Pension scheme up to 9% total contribution (5% self contribution, 4% employer contribution)
  • Focus on learning and development, growing company with growing opportunities.
  • Collaborative environment with a focus on team success and non-hierarchical culture.
  • Regular all company communication meetings
  • Seasonal socials including team building, summer and winter party.
  • Regular all team surveys to check in on teams' happiness.
