Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a Van Driver to handle local multi-drop deliveries of building materials using a company van. You will represent Selco at every delivery, ensuring products reach customers safely, securely and on time, and you will return to the branch at the end of each shift.

This role emphasizes customer service, teamwork and safety, with a 45-hour working week and a personal performance bonus up to £150 per month.

Qualifications

• A valid full driving licence for the vehicle.
• Safe, responsible and reliable driving.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support the wider branch.
• Awareness of vehicle safety, stock security and driving requirements.
• Positive, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building products to customers across the local area.
• Completing daily vehicle and safety checks before setting out.
• Ensuring the vehicle is loaded safely and the load is secure.
• Taking responsibility for the vehicle and stock during deliveries.
• Providing excellent customer service at every delivery.
• Keeping the vehicle clean and ready for use.
• Supporting inter-branch transfers and other branch activities as needed.
• Collaborating with the branch team to maintain smooth deliveries.
• Following all driving, health and safety and company requirements.
