Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a Van Driver to carry out local multi-drop deliveries of building materials. You will drive a company van, perform daily checks, and ensure loads are secure, while delivering excellent customer service and representing the branch at every delivery.

The role is based from a Selco branch with a 45-hour week and a bonus scheme offering up to £150 per month based on performance. You will be part of a supportive branch team delivering goods safely and on time.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Safe, responsible and reliable driving
• Strong customer service and communication

• Awareness of vehicle safety, stock security and driving requirements

Responsibilities

• Carrying out multi-drop deliveries of building products to customers in the local area
• Completing daily vehicle and safety checks
• Ensuring the vehicle is loaded safely and the load is secure
• Taking responsibility for the vehicle and stock during deliveries
• Providing excellent customer service at each delivery
• Keeping the vehicle clean, tidy and ready for use
• Supporting inter-branch transfers and other branch activities as required
• Working closely with the branch team to keep deliveries running smoothly
• Adhering to all driving, road transport, health and safety and company rules
