Job summary

Empowering Learning Ltd is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support students across Belper and Ripley in Derbyshire. These roles are temporary or long-term and term-time only, offering consistent school-based work in your local community.

You will assist class teachers, work with individuals or small groups, promote wellbeing, and help maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment in line with safeguarding policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a school setting.
• Living in or near Belper, Ripley or the surrounding area.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom teachers in delivering lessons.
• Work with individual pupils, small groups or whole classes.
• Support pupils' learning, progress and behaviour.
• Promote pupils' wellbeing and help maintain a safe, positive and inclusive classroom.
• Follow each school's policies, including safeguarding.
