Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Service Engineer (Automated Gates) based in Royston. The role focuses on service, maintenance, repair and installation of automated gates, barriers and entry systems across a local Hertfordshire/Essex patch.

You’ll enjoy a 40-hour week (Mon-Fri, 7:30–16:30), no weekend work, no on-call rota, and optional overtime. A company van and pension are provided, with a focus on work-life balance within a family-run business.

Qualifications

• Experience with automated gates, barriers or doors.
• Local role with limited travel.
• No weekends or on-call rota.
• Optional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Repair faults, breakdowns, upgrades and replacement automated gates and entry systems.
• A small, local role patch of Hertfordshire and Essex.
• 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday (7:30AM-4:30PM).
• Optional overtime.
