Additional Resources is seeking an Automated Gate Engineer to join our service team in the UK. This permanent role involves diagnosing faults, repairing automated gates and barriers, and performing retrofit upgrades across multiple sites.

The ideal candidate has at least three years in gate automation, holds a driving licence, and works well in a team. We offer a company van, pension, PPE, and regular hours with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in gate automation.
• Previous industry experience is essential.
• A driving licence is required.
• A reliable, punctual and trustworthy approach to work.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on automated gates and entry systems.
• Attend breakdowns and identify faults with equipment.
• Carry out retrofit work and upgrades to existing systems.
• Undertake occasional routine servicing.
• Work on barriers, intercoms and GSM systems.
• Fit replacement parts, safety edges and associated equipment.
