Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking a Mobile Crane Operator for a site-based, full-time position in Barrow-in-Furness. This local role carries no travel allowance and requires certification covering mobile crane operations.

You will safely lift and position loads, work in confined spaces when required, and follow health and safety rules and company procedures. A minimum of 3 years' crane experience with NPORS/ECITB certification is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of crane operator experience.
• Valid NPORS or ECITB certification.
• Certification covering mobile crane operations.
• Site-based, full-time role in Barrow-in-Furness.

Responsibilities

• Safely lift, move, and position loads in line with operational requirements
• Work within confined spaces where required
• Maintain safe working practices, adhering to health & safety regulations and company procedures
• Interpret job specifications to meet client and project requirements
• Select and prepare appropriate materials, consumables, and equipment
• Carry out cleaning tasks and apply temporary protection solutions as needed
• Inspect completed work to ensure it meets required standards and specifications
