Job summary

Hyndburn Borough Council is seeking an enthusiastic individual to run the local land charges service. The role involves registering new local land charges with HM Land Registry and plotting sites on the mapping system, keeping the local land charges register up to date, and handling CON29 enquiries with accurate, timely replies.

The successful candidate will meet deadlines with high accuracy, demonstrate excellent customer service, and work with HM Land Registry and other council services.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in public service tasks.
• Strong customer service ethos and clear communication with customers and advisers.
• Ability to understand and extract information from maps and use mapping IT systems.
