Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a delivery driver to join our local delivery team in Rochester. The role focuses on local driving routes, loading and unloading goods, and delivering to customers with a strong emphasis on service quality.

The successful candidate will hold a CatC / 18T licence, have at least two years of driving experience, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and reliability. Weekend work is possible as part of an “Any 5 from 7” arrangement.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy for paperwork and deliveries.
• Previous experience of driving, especially delivery driving, is preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries and load/unload goods.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately for deliveries.
• Deliver to customers on time and provide a high level of service.
• Build relationships with customers and maintain regular service standards.
