Job summary

Booker is seeking a delivery driver to join our local delivery team. You will work 45 hours per week on a Mon to Fri pattern with one Saturday in four, with overtime opportunities and some weekend work, driving locally to support regular customers.

You will be responsible for loading at the branch, delivering to customer premises, and maintaining accurate paperwork while ensuring excellent customer service and on-time deliveries.

Qualifications

• Cat C / 18T licence required.
• At least two years' driving experience.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the Branch and unload at the customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Build relationships with regular customers and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Provide great service and helpful customer interactions.
