Job summary

Booker Group plc is recruiting for a delivery driver to support local customers and branches across Eccles. You will drive a 18T vehicle, load/unload goods, and ensure on-time deliveries with a high level of customer service.

Role expects 45 hours per week on a Mon-Fri basis with some Saturday work and potential overtime. It’s a 5-from-7 shift pattern with weekend involvement. Suitable for drivers with a solid track record and reliable interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• CatC / 18T Licence required.
• Two years driving experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Good literacy and numeracy are essential.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Deliver locally and build relationships with regular customers.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Maintain timely deliveries and great service.
