Job summary

Booker Group plc is seeking a delivery driver for a 7 day operation, with local driving to keep customer shelves stocked and orders fulfilled. You will be loading at the branch, delivering to customers, and completing paperwork carefully. Overtime may be available and fully funded CPC training hours are provided.

Applicants should hold a CatC / 18T licence and have prior driving experience (two years preferred). Some weekend work may be required in a busy wholesale environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good level of literacy and numeracy.
• Previous driving experience and a valid licence are required or preferred for this role.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch.
• Unload at customer premises and ensure correct paperwork.
• Drive locally to deliver to customers and maintain relationships.
• Ensure deliveries arrive on time with a high standard of service.
