Job summary

AFI group of companies is seeking a Class 2 HGV Driver based from Caldicot to deliver and collect hire machines to and from customer sites in the local area. The role includes a 45‑hour week, with a basic salary of £33,930 and an OTE of around £37k–£38k, plus pension and other benefits.

Training is provided for IPAF and load/unload, with opportunities for overtime and a discretionary Christmas bonus. In addition to a competitive benefits package, you will join a team focused on providing

Qualifications

• Hold a Class 2 licence and CPC.
• Experience with multi‑drop delivery/collections.
• Excellent communication and a friendly approach.
• Timekeeping and initiative are important.
• CSCS is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and collect hire machines to/from customer sites in the local area.
• Operate in a customer‑facing role and ensure first‑class service.
• Maintain punctuality and safe loading/unloading practices.
