Job summary

HGV Class 2 Driver in Northampton is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work or overnight stays. The role focuses on delivering civils and drainage products across Northampton and nearby areas, with around six deliveries daily and a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Typical hours are 7:30am-4:30pm or 8:00am-5:00pm, with 33 days’ annual leave, a monthly bonus scheme up to £250, Perkbox benefits, a pension matched up to 8%, sick pay after six months, and

Qualifications

Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence.
Driver CPC and digital tachograph card.
Previous HGV driving experience.
Reliable, professional and customer-focused.
Good understanding of driving regulations and road safety.

Responsibilities

Deliver civils and drainage products to customers across Northampton and surrounding areas.
Complete approximately six deliveries per day.
Safely operate an HGV Class 2 vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service.
Ensure deliveries are completed safely and on time.
Follow all driving regulations and Health & Safety procedures.
