Job summary

Whitmore is seeking a dependable Local CDL Class A Driver to transport finished products and materials between our manufacturing facility in Rockwall, Texas, and our warehouse in Terrell, Texas. This is a full-time, local position with no overnight travel.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least two years of tractor-trailer experience, and the ability to read and complete shipping documents. A strong attention to detail and reliable attendance are essential for on-time deliveries and

Description

Position Purpose:

Whitmore, a global leader in high-performance lubricants, is seeking a dependable Local CDL Class A Driver to transport finished products and materials between our manufacturing facility in Rockwall, Texas, and our warehouse in Terrell, Texas. This is a full-time, local position with no overnight travel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a tractor-trailer while transporting finished products and materials between company facilities.
• Comply with all company policies and applicable federal, state, local, and Department of Transportation regulations.
• Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the tractor and trailer are in safe operating condition.
• Report vehicle defects, maintenance concerns, accidents, or safety issues immediately.
• Meet scheduled pickup and delivery times.
• Properly secure loads before transportation.
• Assist with loading and unloading products from the trailer.
• Verify shipping and receiving documents for accuracy and maintain required transportation records.
• Maintain a clean and organized tractor and trailer.
• Follow all warehouse and facility safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Clean and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Minimum of two years of recent tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Knowledge of and ability to comply with DOT regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
