Job summary

DPD is seeking a local route driver in the United Kingdom. You will operate a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes, delivering 40–50 stops daily with a focus on safe, reliable service and strong customer interactions.

Using Saturn handheld devices for real-time tracking, you’ll manage deliveries, handle loading/unloading with sack barrows and hand trucks, and represent the friendly DPD experience every day. Autonomy and a hands-on approach are valued in a fast-paced environment where every parcel

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting parcels.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with ~40–50 stops daily.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and navigation.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Provide friendly, safe service to customers.
