Job summary

DPD is seeking a 7.5 Tonne delivery driver to own a local route with 40–50 stops daily, delivering parcels with reliable, high‑quality service.

You’ll use Saturn handheld devices, load with sack barrows and hand trucks, and remain friendly and professional with every customer.

Ideal candidates hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence and CPC/DQC accreditation, with a few months’ driving experience; enjoy autonomy, tech, and love being out in the community.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting involved in the job.

Responsibilities

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with 40–50 stops per day.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track deliveries and manage routes.
• Be the friendly face customers see and help with drop-offs.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
