DPD Group UK is seeking a delivery driver to own a designated local route, handling around 40–50 stops a day with a focus on safe, efficient customer service. You’ll drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries, and be the friendly face customers see.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid 7.5 Tonne licence with DQC/CPC, have up to 6 months driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles, and stay physically active to handle loading with sack barrows and hand trucks.

Qualifications

• Valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• Ideally 6 months recent driving experience handling 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically active and comfortable with lifting.
• Cares about doing a good job and treats customers and colleagues with respect.

Responsabilités

• Drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle on local routes with around 40–50 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows and hand trucks.
• Use Saturn handheld devices to track progress and manage deliveries.
• Provide friendly, professional service and be the main customer-facing contact.
