DPD Hinckley is seeking a local route driver to own a designated delivery run, delivering parcels with a focus on reliability and top-notch service. You’ll navigate 40–50 stops daily, providing a friendly, professional customer experience on every drop-off.

You’ll drive a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, use Saturn handheld devices for tracking, and handle loading with sack barrows and hand trucks. This role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer care.

Qualificações

• C1 licence (7.5 Tonne) and DQC/CPC accreditation are required.
• 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professionally present and customer-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving parcels.
• Respectful handling of customers and colleagues, safety-conscious.

Responsabilidades

• Drive a local route in a 7.5 Tonne vehicle, delivering parcels to around 40–50 stops daily.
• Load and unload parcels using sack barrows/hand trucks; ensure safe handling.
• Utilise Saturn handheld devices for progress tracking and proof of delivery.
• Provide excellent customer service and act as the face of the company on deliveries.
