Job summary

DPD Hinckley is seeking a reliable 7.5 Tonne driver to join our team. You will own a designated local route, delivering around 40–50 stops daily with a focus on safety and customer service. The role uses Saturn handheld devices to manage deliveries and progress.

We offer a permanent contract, 40 hours per week, a consistent start window from 07:00 to 08:30, and a pathway for career growth within a sustainability-focused company.

Qualifications

• A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence and DQC/CPC accreditation.
• 6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles.
• Professional, approachable and capable in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Drive local routes with 40-50 stops daily, ensuring on-time deliveries.
• Use Saturn handheld devices for deliveries and tracking.
• Provide friendly doorstep service and strong customer interactions.
• Load and unload parcels with proper safety using equipment.

Education

A valid 7.5 Tonne (C1) licence

DQC/CPC accreditation

6 months recent driving experience with 7.5 Tonne vehicles
