Local 3.5T Delivery Driver – OT & Customer-Facing

Job summary

Booker is seeking a local delivery driver for our Glasgow branch to drive within the area, load stock at the branch, and unload at customer premises while building relationships with regular customers to ensure timely deliveries and great service.

This 7-day operation may include weekend shifts. A Cat B/3.5T licence and at least two years' driving experience are required, with preference for delivery driving. Good literacy and numeracy are essential.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T licence required.
• Two years driving experience minimum.
• Delivery driving experience preferred.
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive customer service attitude.
• Good literacy and numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch and unload at customer premises.
• Ensure paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver locally and build relationships with regular customers.
• Carry out local driving as part of a 7 day operation with some weekend work.
