Job summary

Booker Group plc in Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a local delivery driver to join our branch-based team. You will be responsible for loading stock, delivering to customers and ensuring orders are accurate and on time while delivering a friendly, professional service.

The role is a 7-day operation with weekend shifts likely. A Cat B / 3.5T licence and at least two years’ driving experience are required, with delivery experience preferred and strong literacy and numeracy skills.

Qualifications

• Cat B / 3.5T Licence
• Previous driving experience (at least two years)
• Delivery driving experience preferred
• Ability to carry out manual deliveries
• Excellent interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Load stock into the vehicle at the branch
• Unload at customer premises
• Complete paperwork accurately
• Ensure deliveries arrive on time with a great service
