About the team:

Join a newly established team combining parts of our Global Banking & Advisory and Global Markets divisions – Distribution & Credit Solutions (DCS), focusing on credit capabilities. DCS works closely with Origination and Credit Portfolio Management to derisk the Bank during Primary (Syndication) and Secondary Distribution (Trading), and pursues Fund Financing and Securitisation activities.

This role is in our Commercial Real Estate syndication Pod, based in London, offering broad exposure to credit functions and various products, impacting how we serve clients and open new opportunities for Soc Gen.

Details of the Role:

We seek a professional with experience in the Real Estate sector and Syndicated Loan Markets at the Senior Analyst / Associate level. Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing transactions and opportunities to assist senior team members in loan origination and distribution
• Drafting underwriting and syndication memos to support credit processes and maintain communication with relevant teams
• Defining syndication strategies, coordinating with Sales teams, and managing transfer processes
• Negotiating legal documentation and ensuring compliance
• Managing deal transfer processes and developing investor networks
• Preparing marketing materials and managing reporting platforms

Profile required:

• Experience in a Syndications team covering Real Estate
• Strong credit analysis and legal documentation skills
• Proven ability to facilitate loan transactions
• Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks
• Collaborative, accountable, with excellent communication skills

European language skills are beneficial but not essential.
